Right, so like, I need to update this but I have no idea what to write. I don't feel like making the major update this actually needs since the last time I really wrote anything was in November... But I supposed I ought to get on it anyway.

So I went to visit Silent over Christmas as planned. Real name's Cody btw. >.> I think I like calling him Silent better though. But yeah, we had a really good time. My favorite part was finally getting to meet all the people I play FFXI with. We went to Superior which is where several of them live together in a very very cold house..they don't like to pay for heating. ^^; And by we I mean me, Cody, and Jeff. Jeff is his best friend who's Dregon on the game. We went up there to meet up with Matt (Feanor, and Jeff's brother), Joe (Kalef), another Matt (Verthandi), Aaron (Legarond, and the second Matt's brother), and Josh (doesn't play, but is Joe's brother). In conclusion, everyone has a brother and lots of people name their kids Matt and Aaron/Erin. So that got a bit confusing when they'd yell at Aaron through the house and I'm like "What?" So we hung out there and static'd it up. Much fun was had although I was freezing. We had computers/PS2s set up all through the house and I was in Joe's room with him. Joe and I had previously hung out in the kitchen for a few hours together as I taught him the proper way to make doughnuts. Good times. Joe let me take the blanket from his bed that night so I would freeze less to the floor overnight. Sort of helped, but it was still cold. We didn't go to bed until really late, and then we were woken up early with really bad music... Half the reason I couldn't get to sleep was being cold and uncomfortable, the other half was that I couldn't stop giggling as I could hear Jeff downstairs on the couch making funny noises. He had a cold. It was humorous. :p

The rest of the time Cody and I mostly hung out in his basement, me playing XI, him playing VII, then VIII. I had to help him a bit though. He sucked at using the right materia, and junctioning... When we weren't hiding out in the basement, we went to Duluth and shopped. Because I love shopping, and have nowhere to go down here. We even got Jeff to come with a few times. I gave his family the watercolor I painted of their backyard for Christmas. It turned out nice and they liked it. ^^

Since I got back I've been working a lot. Michelle, my boss, is teaching me cake decorating which is cool. Not much else is happening though. Just playing XI too much. My Drg is 5k from 62, but as usual, on my days off I can't get a party. My Rdm is 38 now and we might static this Saturday which would be cool. I wanna get 41 for refresh! Plus I get to learn Convert at 40. Silent leveled my Blm to 17 so I can warp now. ^^ I leveled it this week to 21 so my Rdm is good until 43.  My cooking is now a whopping 93. I just love being a cooking veteran. I'm making lots of money at it with sushi, rolanberry pie, marron glaces... I also got my clothcraft to 51 and even managed to obtain my Magnifying Spectacles. My character looks good in glasses. >.>

My other piece of XI news is that Silent and I got married on February 17. <3 We had a wedding in San D'oria, where he's from (Windurst for life!!!). It was so much fun and it was so awesome because we'd only been trying to get a date since December. Normally it takes much longer to get one. The date we got only had a 2% chance. O.o We win at life or something. Of course, upon having the wedding I now own my own set of wedding gear which I looooooove. I look very sexy it it, especially the boots and hose. We also got wedding rings which we now wear all the time. Sacrificing that second ring slot was worth it though, having everyone know how much he means to me. ^^ Here's a link to some screenshots V took for us: http://gamerslogik.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=5816

Upon checking my last entry for what I've missed in this one, I guess I haven't mentioned that I got another car finally. We actually found the exact same year and color Miata which is exactly what I wanted. We took some parts from my old one and put them on my new one, like the top, seats, some of the paneling inside, ect. But instead of a CD player this one had a tape deck but that actually turned out to be better because now I could buy one of those iPod attachments to play it through there. It's so nice not having to wear the headphones while driving anymore. Of course, I still miss my old car, silly as it sounds for being just a material object. It just meant a lot more to me than a regular car, you know? There's just something special about your first. It helps knowing a lot of my new car is in fact my old one though. And to be perfectly honest, I love that most people don't know that it's new. I really don't like explaining about the accident. It's just better this way. Easier for me.

What's not easier is that since I got back from MN my back was still giving me a lot of trouble despite not working so long. Some people suggested I go to the chiropractor in town, so I tried it out. I was going once a week for several weeks up until he decided I was probably good. He told me to wait a month and if it seemed good that I could go ahead a settle with the other insurance place. Yes, that still hasn't been resolved yet. I just want it to go away. Hopefully in the next few weeks it will. I'm so tired of it.

Seems I need to go get ready though. Sam and Ken are coming over and we're going to go out to eat tonight. Not like I'm getting a party today anyway... I think I'll try to make some Melon Pie 1 for my Rdm so my day won't be such a waste..

Well maybe sometime soon. But not right now. Too sleepy. But I did survive that trip to MN. I had tons of fun too. Guess I ought to have posted about it by now, but somehow I've managed not too. >.>

Poocake +1 Nov. 23rd, 2005 @ 04:21 pm
Okay, I guess it's about time I update this thing. I finally have some time, though the reason I do makes me feel bad. >< Hmm...confused yet? Maybe I should start at the beginning.

All right, so last Monday - the 14th - I was SUPPOSED to go to class. But, of course, I was in the middle of something on FFXI and Silent didn't really want me to go anyway, so I just decided to skip since I hadn't missed that class before. Now, my mom was gone that week to visit her parents in South Dakota so my dad had asked me to stop by the grocery store on the way home for some things for dinner. I forgot though, so I had to make a trip into town later. Silent had to go to the bank too, so we figured we should both go at the same time would we wouldn't have to wait around for each other to get back.

So I get a list of what I need and make my way to town, just like normal. I remember I have to take the highway though since they are doing construction on the back way. I've always hated taking the highway too... So I'm driving through town, minding my own business, and this car pulls into the turning lane like they love to do now. I hate that so much. I always feel like they aren't going to see my and they'll hit me. But he didn't, so I kept going. As I'm passing him so he can go behind me, out of nowhere this white car just comes right out in front of me. Of course, since I have a small car I couldn't see him come out because of that car in the turning lane. Not that he'd been looking anyway apparently...

I knew before it happened I was going to hit him, but I tried to stop anyway. So after the initial shock of the airbag and the not being able to breath because of the dust/smoke it let off (I have asthma, remember ><), I was able to get out of the car and out of the street. People kept asking me if I was okay and all I could do was cry as I stared at my car. The impact hit the front left and it left a huge dent there, as well as completely warping my hood. I told them my arm hurt a little and they pointed out that was normal considering I had a huge scrape/bruise. I hadn’t really noticed though, at the time. The EMTs came and one particularly nice one talked to me to make sure I was okay. He reminded me a lot of someone else I know, so that helped since I was by myself and a little scared. I tried to call my dad, but he’d gone out riding that day, so he didn’t answer his phone. Nick just left for work so I tried to call before he left, but again, no one. Then a friend of my dad’s happened to drive by and see me. He tried my dad on his HAM radio and tried calling my dad’s cell and my house again. We finally got hold of him and then he and his family offered to stay with me until my dad came. So that was another very nice thing for me.

Various people came up to me while I waiting telling and asking me tons of things. I honestly don’t remember much of it anymore. The one thing I did gather though was the man who hit me, was drunk. I saw him from a distance and thought “Omg, someone let him get behind the wheel looking like that?” He looked plastered and totally out of it. I heard him admit to the police that he’d been drinking that day. Afterward, they took him to the hospital for blood work to make it…official, I guess. He was cited for not yielding to the stop sign and after the tests come back he’ll a DUI or whatever. Since the accident was his fault, his insurance is paying, but it’s looking like we won’t be able to fix my car with the money they’re saying they’ll give me. Which means they will take my car and not let me have it back. And I know it seems silly, it’s just a car after all, but that really makes me upset. It’s my first car ever, and I love it to pieces. My dad keeps telling me we’ll get me a new one, but I don’t want one. I want my car.

I went to the doctor this morning because my back has been bothering me since it happened and we finally got all the reports done so it seemed okay to go ahead and have it checked out. He thought that we should really “play hardball” as he put it and try to get some money out of this. Not to be greedy, but because if we do, the man who was driving will most likely lose his insurance and his license, which I think he needs to lose. He should never have been driving and I don’t much want him out on the road anymore either. I’ve never been very trusting of people and even more so now.

So the doctor also said I should probably not work the rest of the week. Which is why I feel really bad right now. I was scheduled for 32 hours this week since they really needed me, and now I’m baling on them. It wouldn’t be so bad any other week than this one because of Thanksgiving. Also, I haven’t mentioned yet that I got transferred to the bakery. I’ve only been there like a week or so and now I feel like they think I’m unreliable. I just...oi, I don’t know. I’m not usually like this I swear! It’s just that this stuff came up and I didn’t really plan on it. I hate the feeling that she (my new manager) is getting the wrong impression. Cause I already had to tell her I’d be gone for like 3 weeks over Christmas vacation

Which brings us to the other news I have. Heheh. This is what happens when I go this long without updating. I decided that I was going to do something completely crazy for once in my life. The reason I’ll be gone for my Christmas vacation is because I am going to Minnesota to hang out with Silent and his friends. >.> I know, I’m crazy. The original plan was for him to come visit me next summer but we got tired of waiting. I just can’t believe my dad said yes. O.o But yeah, that ought to be fun.

But other than all that crazy stuff…not much else is going on. I’ve had a bunch of stuff for school to do that I’m finally sort of getting caught up on. I finished the big paper I had for World Lit, so thank God that’s done with. I get to help my mom with Thanksgiving dinner now that I'm not whoring myself out to the bakery this week. That might be fun. I have a bunch of new recipes I want to try. But sitting here is making my back hurt. I guess I’ll go walk around or lie on my bed.

How it works: Google "(your name) needs" and take the first ten or so results:

"Erin needs to wear shirts."

"Erin needs our matter of fact acknowledgement that her beloved is dying–no kind lies."

"Erin needs what most white girls crave - ..."
~I'm going to leave out the rest of that one I think.

"Erin needs a voice."

"Erin needs platelets on a regular basis to thicken her blood."

"Erin needs that nurturing, too, since she has gone so long without it."

"Erin needs someone who cares that she is alive."

"Erin needs to decide if she should try to work things out with her very hot

"Erin needs to understand that people don't like to see a pretty white girl with rap talent that would run circles around sir mix a lot succeed in today's world."

Crap, I never update this do I?

Umm, let's see. Other than wasting my life w/ FFXI still, I don't think anything has happened. Just been going to classes like normal, which are boring of course. Well, except maybe my ceramics class. I like that one. It's my second time in there so I can do w/e I want so that makes it even better. I made this awesome mug w/ the Windurst flag on it. Once it's glazed and fired I'll put up a pic. And too be perfectly honest, it's really good. The top is actually NOT uneven for once, and the handle's all nice and pretty. I'm very pleased w/ it. I didn't know I could make something look so nice. And it's all handmade too, not on the wheel, which makes getting things even hard. :p I just hope I can find the right glaze colors so it looks just right.

So I'm sitting in Jeuno looking for a party right now. None yet, but soon maybe. I hope. I'm like 1291 away from level 42, I did the NPC quest the other day, and I'm less than 1000 guild points away from getting my Culinarian's Apron. I rock. >.> Oo, and I got me a pair of Opaline Boots which are super sexy on my character. Which seems to make ppl want to keep checking me...staring at me...send me random tells...and pinch my butt...

In other news, I'm staving right now. I don't know what to make though. Oh, and I officially don't like Spam. I tried it the other day, and while it didn't kill me, it didn't make me like it either. And I want to go make a pumpkin roll, which I make super yummy, but I know if I leave, I'll miss the only pty invite I'll get all day. I'll check on my tells and see that I got one, and I'll be like "Party? Yes, please." and they'll be like "oh, we got someone else". And then I'll be super uber duper pissed off and smash the keyboard again, breaking it some more. I want to ask Nick to watch my tells, but he's doing homework right now and he seems pretty pissed, so I'm not going to bug him yet. Oh wait, he must be done, he's getting on the game now. I'll ask him.

Woo, so I guess I'm off to make pumpkin roll. Mmmm...so yummy. And I need to take some pics today too for Silent before he gets mad at me for being lazy w/ them. >.>

I have a kitty named after me. My life is complete. :D

I got the fabric for my cosplay, but we're making some test runs with the patterns first so we don't mess up the expensive pvc. So far so good actually. And I finally found the right sized brass rings that I'll need a ton of. And I found them at Wal-Mart. For 26 cents. Cheap and convenient. I'll need to try out some mask designs as well, so I'm buying a few extra cheap masks to practice on. Hey, but I found just the right shade of pink paint for it. As soon as Halloween stuff starts finding its way to shelves, I'll check around for some much need gold, bronzy colored face paint and maybe even a pink and or white wig to chop up and use. Aw, this costume is going to be so cool.

So I'm thinking about getting a purple cake this year for my birthday. Like, light and dark purple. Maybe some yellow. I'm not sure. But hey, at least it'll be free. :D I found some neon yellow candles that I really want to use too. But other than the normal Tucson thing with my mom, I have no other birthday plans. Oh, but that reminds me. I was talking to Chad and he said he's going to send me something from Japan for my birthday. He wanted to know what I wanted, but I really didn't know. We finally made a deal that he'd send something, and if it was crap, he'd keep sending me stuff until I got something I liked. XD Works for me.

Hmm...so I haven't been doing anything else. Just the usual: videogames, tv, computer, wandering bored around the house.

I can't wait for it to get cold again. Lol. That was a bit random.
» still alive
You know, in case anyone thought I'd died or something. Which...I guess you could say I did. Or might as well be. FFXI is eating my soul.

I finally got to lvl 30. I unlocked dragoon and and working on rank 5. I want to unlock all the other jobs too. But no one is ever on to help me. Lazy bastards. I'm still trying to get my fame in Windurst up to get the mog safe upgrade quests. That's annoying as crap.

Silentdeath thinks I need to watch "Invincible Barbarian" and "The Avengers". I think he needs to play FFVII. Athos thinks I needed to watch "The Last Unicorn". I did. The songs were funny, but it was a good plot. I think I need to see "Howl's Moving Castle", "Advent Children" and play the new Zelda. Of course, we're not getting "Howl's Moving Castle" in theaters here so I have to wait for the DVD. Which probably won't be until...idk, December? Sometime in winter I'll assume.

My poor websites have not been updated/checked in weeks. I just got a hub so I can access my game and internet simultaneously though, so I'm working on it. I'm also going to need to start working on my cosplay. Finally ordered the pvc. Said it'll be here in 3-5 days...I'm skeptical. That's awfully quick. But I'm planning to take a few days off around my mother's and my birthday and we're going to Tuscon to shop ^^ and then we'll work on my cosplay together. It's nice having a mom who can teach me how to sew. Speaking of which, I need to find out what needles and stuff I need to sew pvc for her. It's important not to pierce it too much, you know?

Still haven't signed up for my classes this semester. I need to do that today. Hopefully, it will be a good set up so I don't have to get up too early, and still have plenty of good FFXI time. XD

Right so...that's about it then. I'll try to update more often...lol.
» MUST PLAY XI!!1!!!!!!11!!
Damn the server maintenance!!!

So I got to lvl 10, got my scale mail, a butterfly axe (which I'll be switching for a new axe at lvl 11), and I even have a ranged weapon. It's a crossbow, not sure of the name, plus, I'm not very good at using it. I don't really know how. I mean, I know how to make it shoot and stuff, but I'm having a hard time switching back to my axe when the gob's up in my face. Oi.

My fishing skill is slowly rising. I'm almost to 2! I love fishing. Only problem is, I break a lot of rods. I have 3 rods right now, two glass and one composite I think. The glass break rather frequently, so I send them to Athos (Ken), with a light crystal and he fixes them. I started using the composite rod and it hasn't broken yet. It probably won't from any of the fish in Windurst though, which is good. The moat carp I catch sell really well and consistently in San d'Oria, so I started my second character, Sao Oshi (though I had to spell it Saooshi since we can use spaces, underscores or dashes), there. I just send the fish to him and collect my 4000gil a stack from him later. Good times. :D I'm thinking not only am I going to use him as a mule, but maybe I'll lvl red mage on him too. Speaking of mules, I need to get a few more...I'm so out of space.

Oh, and my order from Asian Food Grocer came. If you have never tried Pizza Pretz, you should. They're way good. I also bought almond crush, coconut, and strawberry pockies. I purchase a little assorment of Japanese chocolates and now I can say I've tried the equivalent of a strawberry M&M. :p Pretty good actually. I'm surprised the M&M people haven't though of putting flavored chocolates in there. Or even trying white chocolate. Anyway, I also nabbed good pair of chopsticks (which, btw, are awesome) and some drinks: Oolong Tea, Coconut Juice, and a ginger drink. The first two drinks Sam picked out. And the cough drops he wanted are surprisingly tasty.
» *goes crazy*
Ahh!!!!!!!!!!

If it's not one thing, it's another. I got my copy of FXI on Saturday, and come to find out, I also needed to get a network adapter which Nick forgot to tell me about. Luckily, and nearly unbelievably, they had one at Wal-Mart. But it was $40. I was already upset for having to pay $60 for the game, not to mention the monthly fees. And, I also need a USB keyboard. My dad was kind enough to find a USB connecter for me, but guess what? It doesn't work. And everyone on the linkshell who plays the PS2 version says the only keyboard they can get to work is the official PS2 one. I haven't even bothered to check prices on that, I know it will be too much. And they said even that keyboard is still buggery. I need to get Ken to call Anthon to steal Braden's keyboard. He bought some random used one that totally worked. I need it...

You Know You're From Arizona When...

You've signed so many petitions to recall governors you can't remember the name of the incumbent. -I don't read 'em, I just sign 'em.

You notice your car overheating before you drive it. -My poor, hot car.

You no longer associate bridges or rivers with water. -It's true, our river has no water.

You know a swamp cooler is not a happy hour drink. -And that they do not work well. AC!!

You can hear the weather forecast of 115 degrees without flinching. -Eh, it's not so bad.

You can be in the snow, then drive for an hour...and it will be over 100 degrees. -Yeah, if I was lucky enough to be in northern AZ.

You discover, in July it only takes two fingers to drive your car, because your steering wheel is so hot. -I can't touch it now.

You can make sun tea instantly. -If I drank tea.

You run your a/c in the middle of winter so you can use your fireplace. -I've thought of it, but we didn't even bother to build a fireplace. It just doesn't get that cold.

The best parking is determined by shade.....not distance. -If only I could find that shade..

You realize that "Valley Fever" isn't a disco dance. -Haha.

Hotter water comes from the cold water tap than the hot one. -I've never put the washing machine on warm water. It's too hot.

It's noon in July, kids are on summer vacation and yet all the streets are totally empty of both cars and people. -What, do you want to melt?

You actually burn your hand opening the car door. -Uh, yes?

Sunscreen is sold year round, kept right at the checkout counter. -At Bashas' we even keep some next to the frozen section.

You put on fresh sunscreen just to go check the mail box. -I wouldn't risk that long a walk.

Some fools will market mini-misters for joggers and some other fools will actually buy them. Worse.....some fools actually try to jog. -Hahahahhahaaaaa! Jogging...

You know hot air balloons can't rise because the air temperature is hotter than the air
inside the balloon. -I can honestly say, I've never seen a hot air balloon in Arizona.

No one would dream of putting vinyl inside a car. -Unless you want to stick to your seat.

You see two trees fighting over a dog. -If we had trees.

You can say "Hohokam" and people don't think you're laughing funny. -I've never had to say it, but no one would think it odd.

You see more irrigation water on the street than there is in the Salt River. -Pretty much.

You have to go to a fake beach for some fake waves. -w00t! Sunsplash wave pool!!!

You can pronounce"Saguaro", "Tempe", "San Xavier", "Canyon de Chelly", "Mogollon Rim", and "Cholla". -Why, can't you?

You can understand the reason for a town named "Why". -I've even been there.

You can fry an egg on the hood of a car IN THE MORNING! -Not that I'd want to go out in the heat.

You hear people say "but it's a DRY heat!" -Everyday. But the "dry" makes my skin...dry...

You buy salsa by the gallon. -*checks the fridge* Hehe. Guilty.

Your Christmas decorations include sand and l00 paper bags. -We don't want to go out in the sun to put them up.

You think a red light is merely a suggestion. -Okay, not true for me, but for many it seems.

All of your out-of-state friends start to visit after October but clear out come the end of April. -Wow, that's exactly when my Grandparents used to come and go. :P

You think someone driving wearing oven mitts is clever. -That's a good idea...

Most of the restaurants in town have the first name "El" or "Los." -El Charro, Los Gilbertos, La Paloma, hehehe...

You think 60 tons of crushed red rock makes a beautiful yard. -I'd like grass, but there is just no way it would survive.

Your house is made of stucco and has a red clay tile roof. -Yes to stucco, no to tile roof. But the neighbors...

Vehicles with open windows have the right-of-way in the summer. -Haha! Poor things with no AC.

Most homes have more firearms than people. -Heehee. *loads a few of them*

Kids will ask, "What's a mosquito?" -Because it's too hot for them to survive.

People who have black cars or black upholstery in their car are automatically assumed to be from out of-state or nuts. -Nuts.

You know better than to get into a car with leather seats if you're wearing shorts. -Oi, that's asking for trouble.

If you haven't worked for Motorola at some time, you must be a newcomer. -Wait, what?

You can finish a Big Gulp in 10 minutes and go back for seconds. -Mmm...cherry coke.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Arizona.

This store totally rocks. I bought a ton of stuff. Pocky, chopsticks, drinks, and even some Japanese cough drops for Sam. I don't know why he's so obsessed with cough drops.

Yeah, and on another note, I also did something I know I shouldn't have. I bought FFXI. Of course, my computer is crap, so I had to pay extra for the PS2 version which I need a hard drive for. Eh. I've even started dreaming about XI. This is not a good sign. XP

Eep. So while I wait for my copy to come in, I'm trying to make money on my first character. Unfortunately, since I named that one Noviel already, I can't name my new one that. I was thinking of just adding another L on the end. Noviell. It's not too bad right? I'm doing the same character design and class as well: Elvaan female, white hair, warrior/dragoon. I'm think of doing a second character as a red mage. Probably will name him Sao-Oshi. He'll be an Elvaan too, and he's going to have red hair. It's cute. :p

And why is it that every time I'm supposed to get off at work with Ashley working, she disappears? Because they usually need the other courtesy clerk there in order for one to leave, and every time she's no where to be found. She totally doesn't like me. She's jealous of my hair. :p Haha. That's what Brenda and I decided anyway.

My dad brought home a wooden pair of chopsticks for me today. They're cool.

Alright, so I'm not dragoon yet, but I'm getting there. I'm subbing warrior. I can honestly say, I never thought I'd ever play FFXI. But when Nick came to me the other day with, "Erin, I made a big mistake," it was all too clear. He went and reactivated his character (Lynk) and started playing again. He said I could have a character too. So I figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot. It's pretty fun even though I haven't done anything but level, try to sell some things, and get lost.

Still not completely over this cold. Arg. I'm on my 3rd bottle of cough syrup. And I haven't really eaten all day. I went home early from work. Now I won't get payed as much. :( Hmm..I'm going to go find some food, and then maybe go level some more.

Regardless of what that mission is, or how often it changes, everything around you is focused on it and you will stop at nothing to fulfill your destiny. Your attitude and mood may change, but your selfish mindset is always the same. Only a few friends stay with you because of this and you probably have had some trouble in the past as a result as well. But none of that matters so long as you get what rightfully belongs to you. Nothing will stand in your way.

Which Classic Story Role Do You Play?

Being sick blows.

I have to work 30 1/2 hours this week. I hate work. At least I'll get a lot of money, plus I got paid time and a half for 8 hours yesterday since it was Memorial Day. And I hit my elbow and Brenda said that I was going to get a surprise because of it. A bit later, I was facing the ice cream, and some fell, as usual. Then I bent to pick them up, and one fell right on my head. "Surprise!" it screamed. "Fck you!" I yelled back to it. Oh, and then I found a pretty yellow marble. :D And then I got to go home early. :D And then I died. :D

*cough*spasm*cough*cough*

I want cookies. Or...boklava...or peach dumplings. Mmm..I want the last one the most. I should call my mom and ask her to get stuff for me. Heh. I'm good. She's getting the stuff.

So I re-ordered the chair in purple and it came...navy. Yep. The wrong color again. But now they're sold out of the other colors so I'm stuck with this one. Normally I'd have gone with navy for colors, but this is not navy blue. It's like...a cornflower blue. The most despised of all blues in my eyes. *pokes chair* At least it's comfortable.

And my books came so I can start reading again. And I found my other armwarmer.

And..and and...*coughs to death*
» OMFG ROXOR!
Right, right, I need to update. Arg. Yes, arg, that's what Darth Vader should have said at the end of the movie, not "NOOOO". It just didn't fit.

Yes, but I really did like the movie. I've seen it in the theaters twice... I don't like when they kill the Jedi. I always thought Link was a kiss-ass-light-side-lover, but uh, now I see his point. I don't think I want to go darkside anymore. I don't even want to be neutral. I want to be a real Jedi. I just sort of wish that aside from picking the face and hair in KOTOR, you could pick species too. I would have made a cool Twi'lek.

So I watched the Little Mermaid this morning. I love that movie. Yeah, I know, I'm a dork, but that's okay. I heard some of those old disney songs that they're remaking and I had the urge to go download the real songs. So then I decided I wanted to watch the Little Mermaid since it's been a while. I noticed though, I only have the movie on the old vhs that we taped. I don't even have it on DVD. Eh, I don't want to have to spend the money though. Erin's getting poor.

Speaking of money, the new chair I ordered came. Though, it came in the wrong color. It came in chartreuse, which, in case no one knows, is a very ugly color. Okay, so it wasn't that bad in person, but it looked pretty hideous in their online pictures. But they said I could take it back to Wal-Mart and get all my money back, then just re-order it. I think though, that getting the wrong color was God's way of telling me I should have gotten the purple. So I did this time. :D

AND my Lulu armwarmers came a few days ago. They're so cool. And warm. But I was trying to find them this morning because during the summer our house is always cold during the day, and I can't find one! So now my left arm is warm and the right is...well, at the moment it's not cold, but that would be the theory. Link told me to rub the cold arm with the warm one. What a kiss-ass-light-side-lover thing to say. :p

Hmm..what else..oh hey! I finally tried those dark chocolate M&M's. The dark side tastes good. *squees* They have grey M&M's. Awesomeness.

Ooo! And my Chinese brocade shirt is almost done. It's so pretty.

I also ordered some books off Amazon. See, I was reading Ender's Shadow which I borrowed from the library, but now that school's out it's hard to get over and renew it. Plus, they're still closed for another week. I finally just gave up and returned the book 5 days late. I guess I'll pay the fine later. Then I ordered it and Shadow of the Hegemon (go Peter!) and Shadow Puppets. All hardcover too. You know, the shipping cost more than the books though. How retarded is that?

I'm going to dye my hair again too. Red, since it looked good last time.
» Midnight Showing: Revenge of the Sith
You know what I didn't like? When the Jedi died.
» Take all the hot dogs and hide them in the secret shelter! We will leave nothing for the enemy!
You know, hot dogs are good. Very tasty. Ooo, and so was that chicken quesadilla I had tonight. And that carrot cake I made the other day. Mmm...I should go eat some, but my tummy's still full from the quesadilla.

So, I got to meet Jay today. Raina's new boyfriend. They didn't stay long though. But we're supposed to go bowling with them tomorrow. If that happens. Which reminds me, I have to go to the college to pick up the rest of my clay stuff. No, that didn't segue right, but hey, I know what goes on in my head and that's good enough for all of you.

So yeah. I bought this awesome, way cool, new chair. And then I broke it. Heh. So my mom is trying to get a refund, or at least some credit from that gay-arsed Wal-Mart while I go buy this other chair they have. It better be slightly less cheaply made.

Anyway, I have a unrelenting desire to play either Zelda 64 or FFVII, so I'm going to go finish FVIII for the third time so I can get on that.

Oh, and I finished all my finals, so summer is officially here. Though I don't feel like it is yet. But I'll get to that state of mind soon enough.
